MARS Project at ICAART 2025 in Portugal

A Transformative Vision for Manufacturing

February 23-25 in Porto, Portugal –  The 17th International Confernece on Agents and Artificial Intelligence took place.

ICAART 2025 brought together researchers, engineers and practitioners interested in the theory and applications in the areas of Agents and Artificial Intelligence, covering both applications and current (advanced) research work. On one side the focus layed on Agents, Multi-Agent Systems and Software Platforms, and also Distributed Problem Solving. On the other side the conference focused on Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Representation, Planning, Learning, Scheduling, Perception. Applications are in both areas. They are using Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), Legal Technologies and Quantum Computing.

In this highly relevant environment MARS was represented by our partners from Simula Research Labatory

Dennis Groß (Simula Research Laboratory) presented the paper “Co-Activation Graph Analysis of Safety-verified and Explainable Deep Reinforcement Learning Policies” at the 17th International Conference on Agents and Artificial Intelligence (ICAART 2025) in Portugal. This research presents a method to both verify that an AI is acting safely and to understand the
