MARS presenting at FAIM 2025 International Conference

At the FAIM Conference at Binghamton University in New York, from June 21st to 24th 2025, MARS partners presented a fast-track reviewed paper. The theme of the conference in 2025 was “The Future of Automation & Manufacturing: Intelligence, Agility, and Sustainability.” FAIM has been hosted by several universities across Europe, America, and Asia throughout its history. This year it took place at Binghamton University in New York which is well known for  its academic excellence and innovative research.

Each one of the MARS partners National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and SIMULA had three authors and together, Stathatos, P. Benardos, G.-C. Vosniakos, D. Gross, H. Spieker, A. Gotlieb authored the paper “Large Language Models for high-level Computer-Aided Process Planning in a distributed manufacturing paradigm”. The paper had been accepted as a fast-track reviewed paper and then presented at the Conference by G-C Vosniakos, Panorios and P. Benardos.

Impact of FAIM 2025

The FAIM (Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing) international conference provides a platform for academics and industry professionals in automation and manufacturing. Scientific sessions, workshops, tutorials, and industry tours connect professionals in the field.
