From May 26th to May 28th, the MARS consortium held its General Assembly in Bologna, Italy, at the Marposs headquarters.
First Day: Factory Tour and Technical Discussions
The consortium met at the Marposs headquarters and started the day with coffee. The meeting then began with a warm welcome from Marposs and an overview of the company. This presentation was followed by a tour of the factory and headquarters facilities — a great opportunity to connect the project’s technical work with real industrial practice. Over the following sessions, partners exchanged updates across the work packages, discussed key developments, and aligned on priorities for the final stage of the project. The first day focused on updates on WP1–WP4 deliverables, as well as discussions about the final project phase and the future of MARS innovations.
Project Dinner in the City Centre of Bologna
Beyond the working sessions, the MARS consortium enjoyed a city tour and project dinner in Bologna.
Second Day: MARS Exploitation and Communication
The second day focused on WP5 and the planning of concrete next steps for the project. The communication plan for the final phase was aligned with the consortium, and plans for exploitation, as well as the Key Exploitable Results, were discussed. At the end of the meeting, the consortium reviewed the upcoming work for the final months of the project.
